"Watch it Grow" Container Gardening

Lower cost option than instant colour container gardening.

Great project to get the children involved in.

Enjoy watching the plants grow.

What to do:

1. Purchase a decorative pot or hanging basket.



2. Select any flowering annual seedling at your nearest garden centre making sure to look out for the lime green punnets. (There are eight plants per punnet).



3. Fill container with premium potting soil, leaving a few centimetres from the rim of the pot to allow for watering.



4. Remove plants from punnet.



5. Space out seedlings evenly in the pot.



6. Using your index finger and middle finger pull back a small amount of soil and place your seedling into the soil. Gently push the soil back around the plant. It is essential that the seedling stem is not buried or the plant will rot. Repeat process for all seedlings.



7. Thoroughly water plants and place in a sunny location.
