 Starting from scratch, the nursery has evolved over time to what it is today. In the beginning all growing techniques were completed by hand, and sales were conducted from the back of an international
metro van.
Over the years the company has diversified growing a number of different lines but seedlings have remained one of the core products of the business.
Howlong Nursery and its team of growers gained an excellent reputation for consistently producing quality
plants.
Machinery has been introduced to increase efficiency, some of it quite revolutionary. New technology, automation, retractable roof shade houses and automatic screens – Howlong Nursery continues to
invest in the future
 as a leader in the Australian Horticultural Industry.
Future direction of Howlong Nursery will be overseen by the second generation. A continuation of quality products, great service and a focus on generating an expanding interest in gardening within the
